Child Protection Conference - What is Decided there?
If it is felt there is a risk of significant harm to the child in the future, then the Conference may decide that there should be a Child Protection Plan.
This means that all the agencies involved in working with the child and his or her family will agree plans for working with the family and protecting the child.
The child’s name would then be placed on the List of Children with a Child Protection Plan. Even if the child’s name is not placed on that list, recommendations may be made about other help or support that could be offered, or further enquiries that need to be completed.
