Membership It was agreed that the core membership should be based on multi-agency representation. The group totals a core membership of ten. Quorum was agreed as representatives from three separate agencies. Chair Keith Watson, Senior Child Protection Co-ordinator, Leeds Social Services Department, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds LS2 8QB Structure The Professional Practice Sub Group will meet quarterly on a planned basis though additional meetings may be arranged. The Chair will be appointed from members of the Group and be a full member of ACPC. Nominations will be received from the Group and ratified by ACPC. The Chair will be reviewed after two years. The Senior Child Protection Co-ordinator, Social Services, will be the formal link between Local Child Protection Committees and the Professional Practice Sub Group. Part of that role is to identify key issues to be passed on to and from other Sub Groups and the LCPCs through the Chairs’ Meeting.
