Terms of Reference

To ensure the voluntary sector
is involved in the development of
policies and procedures
relating to Child Protection.

To
share good practice around Child
Protection.

To continue to develop innovative
work, and share the results.
Objectives

To receive
information from Leeds ACPC, and
to contribute as appropriate.

To provide
information and to comment
on the issues raised at Leeds
ACPC.

To promote the views and role of
the Voluntary Sector Sub Group.

To
continue to illustrate the importance
of “partnership”.

To
share information on funding
sources.
-
To provide an understanding
of the ACPC to voluntary sector groups
working with children.

To provide workshops/training.
-
To
ensure voluntary sector representation
on ACPC Local Child
Protection Committees.
Membership
-
To ensure that the Sub Group
is representative of voluntary
agencies working in Child Protection.
-
To
provide information to those
agencies who are not on the Sub Group,
but who
are working with children.
-
To
ensure representation (or contributions)
from minority groups.
